Green Zone in Leipzig, Germany
Leipzig, in a similar way to the German city of Erfurt, which introduced the environmental zones in 2012, passed straight to a green badge. Immediately after the introduction of the zones, cars with a red or yellow sticker were not allowed into the city. Only cars with a green badge are allowed entry.
Yet most German cities (Berlin and Munich, for example) initially permitted entrance to less environmentally friendly vehicles.
In the section Validity of Environmental Badges you can simply check out which German cities you can enter without environmental badge.
