Why we require registration documents?

State regulation requires to provide car registration documents for issuing the environmental badge.

What about your personal details on registration documents?

You can cover them up because we don’t need to see them.

Please note: The registration number, date of first registration, fuel type and VIN number must be clearly visible.

✅ Vehicles registered in the UK
You don’t need to upload vehicle documents, as we already have all the necessary data in our system.

This only applies to German environmental badges.
