About Green zones in Frankfurt am Main

Green Zone in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Frankfurt am Main has introduced environmental zones along with Munich. From 1.10. 2008, only vehicles with a red, yellow or green sticker were allowed to enter the city. From 1. 1. 2010, entry was allowed only to vehicles with a yellow or green badge, and two years later this was limited to only those with a green sticker.
In 2008, the environmental zones in Berlin, Cologne and Hannover came into force. You can, however, use the environmental badge in many other German cities.
