Foreign cars must be marked with the environmental badge “Crit’air” from 1.1. 2019. This so-called emergency low-emissions zone takes effect when a higher smog level lasts for more than 3 days. Although the specific conditions and precise territorial scope are not yet known, it can be assumed that vehicles with a Crit’Air sticker of emissions classes 4 and 5 will be excluded.
